| The following videos were created between August 2006 and March 2007, as part of the 35th Anniversary Celebration meeting of LWPES in Toronto, May 2007. They are personal interviews of three of the Society's first Presidents, Claude Migeon, Robert Blizzard, and Mel Grumbach, conducted by President Kenneth Copeland in Baltimore, Charlottesville, and San Francisco, respectively. The purpose was to document a personal oral history of the early days of the Society, including perspectives on Lawson Wilkins the man, major early discoveries in the field, and how each of the interviewees found his way to Hopkins. Each was asked to speculate what Lawson Wilkins might think, were he living today, of the Society, and each was encouraged to share advice and words of wisdom with younger members of our Society. |
